Presenting the report, Garko said the committee had recommended an increase of over N 23 billion.
He said that the recommendation would ensure effective delivery of government services for the benefit of the general public in the state.
At the plenary session, presided over by the Speaker, Hamisu Chidari, the lawmakers, after deliberations on the report of the appropriation committee, adopted the report and passed the budget into law.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ganduje presented the budget proposal to the assembly on Nov. 4.
NAN also reports that the assembly, after passing the bill into law, adjourned its plenary session to Jan. 16, 2023.
