The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue , Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia has reiterated his determination and commitment to evolve better leadership style for Benue people.
According to him I will evolve a leadership style that will connect to a clear, compelling vision of transforming the fortunes of all Benue people.
Fr. Alia made this known on Sunday at a thanksgivings Mass organized by his mother’s kinsmen in appreciation to God for his recent victory at the primaries.
The service held at St. Pius Catholic Church Nege, Ateku – Mbaanue – Mbatiav, Gboko local government area of Benue .
This is contained in statement by Mr Isaac Uzaan,
Media Aide to Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Alia.
He said Benue has been in a dearth of leadership as evident in the inability of the PDP administration in the state to tap into the distinct and admirable natural and human resources the state is so endowed with.
He called on Benue people to vote for all APC candidates beginning from the president down to state legislative assembly.
Fr. Alia said a team of like-minds in leadership both at the state and national levels will ease the work of governance and open up opportunities for the people.
He called on those who, the deliberate refusal of the state government to live up to her salary and pensions obligations has exposed them to difficulties to be hopeful and confident in the ability of the APC to produce leaders who will change the narrative and make their future bright and better.
Earlier in a sermon, Rev. Fr. Michael Melladu cautioned against the negative effect of leprosy on humanity, pointing out failure to function as a normal person and also live up to the desires expectations of all people.
The event featured maternal blessings and adornment of Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia in traditional Tiv attire amongst other things.
