Pastor Glorious Abu, a senior pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has urged Nigerians to get closer to God, to regaining lost glory of the nation, and for a better economic prospect.

The Pastor who is in charge of Christ the Wonderful Parish in Lugbe, Abuja on Sunday said Jesus came to the world to reunite man in fellowship with God.

The cleric urged Christians to remain fervent in prayers as God won’t forsake them or the country.

He added that “when you realise where you have missed it, admit, pray and ask for forgiveness, repent and move on; you will experience a turn around, God will give you a fresh start.

“The first stage is to experience His forgiveness here on earth and the next stage is the transformation that happens in the heart, which would manifest externally, in which man is delivered into ultimate fellowship with God in heaven.

” Let us be open and plain, and God will pardon us. We shall have a new lease of life, good health not only for the economy but for all Nigeria,” he said.

He added that the nation might be experiencing a lot of challenges but we have to pray and act right, to get good leaders who will listen to God’s voice and do the right thing.
