Cleric seeks collective prayers for peace in Nigeria

 Pastor Glorious Abu of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Christ the Wonderful Parish, Lugbe- Abuja, has called for nationwide prayers for peace in Nigeria.
 Making the appeal during the end of the month service of anointing ,he urged Nigerians to intensify supplications ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
In a Topic ‘God of all Comfort,’ the Pastor enjoined Nigerians to pray for mercy and comfort from God for the nation, society and families.
According to him, it is only in a society where there is peace comfort can be found, adding that comfort promotes development and growth.
He also urged Christians to pray for the leaders, saying, ”to have comfort was to have divine rest all round in health, finances ,work place, relationships.
“To have comfort, all sorrows will begin to turn to joy,and all challenges encountered will be settled.”
The Man of God reminded Christians that all what was happening in the country now had already been prophesied to happen.
He said: ” Christians and other Nigerians only needed to be steadfast and not fall prey of such incidences as it won’t be long before peace will be restored.”
He declared the coming month of September as a ”month of  comfort for all who believed in God for a turnaround
