2023: Ondo Youth Group Declares Total Support For Tinubu, Commends Deputy Senate Leader, Boroffice.

A youth group in Ondo state, Akoko Youths Patriotic Front (AYPF) has declared total support for the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 General election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Congratulating Tinubu, the group also expressed optimism that Tinubu’s victory at the APC primary will be replicated at the General election.
In a statement signed by the President of the group, Segun Omojola, the deputy Senate leader and the Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial district was also commended for stepping aside and throwing his weight behind the former Governor of Lagos State, Tinubu to clinch the party ticket.
The group highlighted various projects of the Senator in the district while stating that he “has written his name in the sands of time”.
The statement partly read;
“The AKOKO YOUTH PATRIOTIC FRONT is the rallying point for all AKOKO youths home and abroad. Over the years we have remained committed to the growth and development of AKOKO land by addressing internal issues that could lead to crisis thereby making AKOKO a peaceful land to all her visitors and people who dwell within it for their daily needs.
“In the light of these, we wish to commend and appreciate the magnanimous and pragmatic leadership quality displayed by Prof. AJAYI BORROFICE, who aspired to become the presidential candidate of the of the APC but in a fortunate twist of faith stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the convention ground.
“We wish to state categorically and without fear that such act is highly commendable and worthy of emulation; it beats the imagination of our thoughts. We pay tributes, exaltations and eulogies to our Prof for such brilliant step in moving our democracy forward. We wish to thank our leader once again for bringing the name of AKOKO kingdom into the heart space of nigeria politics noting that our own Prof is a leader with a distinct touch of humanity which has span through AKOKO land.
“His ecumenical sagacity is proven in the construction of skill acquisition centres that spread from ikare AKOKO to Ifon, Oka AKOKO to Ikaram AKOKO to Owo, a centre that had provided needed human skill for self reliability for over tens of thousands of AKOKO youths till date.
“In the area of health, our Prof is very concern and that is evident In the construction of primary health care centers across AKOKO; from oka AKOKO to irun AKOKO and arigbidi akoko lives are being saved daily because of the availability of hospitals.
“His quest for education which he also believes is the bedrock of greatness made him to build 80 ultra modern class rooms, in addition to various primary schools across AKOKO land. He also established the multi millionaire science laboratory technology center for test and diagnosis. Today, he has over 250 students from AKOKO land under his scholarship scheme.
The ceramic industry in Epinmi AKOKO and the bio fuel ethanol plant in Ajowa AKOKO is providing jobs for thousands of AKOKO indigenes and nearby environs and many other projects too numerous to mention all credited to the profound initiative of Senator AJAYI BORROFICE.
“Going further, such gallantry act can only be performed by men who are not chicken hearted and we make bold to say that Prof AJAYI BORROFICE the AKOKO born Senator has written his name on the sands of time, it will take several generations to be greatful to Prof for that kind gesture.
“Lastly, we wish to congratulate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for his victory at the primary, we believe such victory will be carried onward to the general election. The entire AKOKO youths are in support of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the APC presidential candidate in 2023.”, the group concluded.
