Rev. Yakubu Pam, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has been awarded Fellowship of the Institute of Professional Economists and Policy Management (IPEPM).

Dr Yakubu Musa, the Institute’s National Coordinator and Board Secretary, performed the investiture on behalf of the Institute’s National President, Dr Irene Egbhaievhiemhe.

This is stated in a statement signed on Wednesday in Abuja by Celestine Toruka, the NCPC’s Head of Media and Publicity.

Pam was grateful for the award and promised to work with the institute to improve professionalism in the commission’s operations.

He noted that Nigeria was going through difficult times in terms of economy, security, and corporate existence, and urged the institute to assist in addressing some of the issues.

Pam specifically urged the institute to mentor the youth in positive thinking so that they can overcome current challenges and move the country forward.

He lamented that many Nigerians were losing hope in the country, emphasizing the need for the institute to serve as a veritable platform to positively redirect the youths.

The executive secretary of the NCPC emphasized that the time has come for the youth to look beyond the leadership for their survival and explore new opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Earlier, Egbhaievhiemhe, National President of IPEPM, welcomed the NCPC boss into the fold of the institute, which he said has been making vital contributions to national growth and development.

According to him, the institute intends to instill skills in members while using fewer resources to achieve greater results in the embodiment of effective policy management.

According to Egbhaievhiemhe, the institute offers a variety of training programs designed to add value and provide solutions to the needs of organizations.

The NCPC boss was presented with a plaque and certificate, and the oath of allegiance as a fellow of the institute was administered.

NCPC Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr Joseph Oche; Administration, Mr Barnabas Ali; Planning, Research and Programme Development, Mr Sonny Ebiyaibo; and Special Assistant Media to the Executive Secretary, Mr Ayuba Pam all attended the investiture ceremony
