Birthday:PCN family pay tribute to head of finance and account

There was standing ovation by peace Corps officers and men in celebration of the Deputy National Commandant Finance and account, Patriot Omolola Amao, when she adds another year to her age on Friday.

The officers, whose happiness knew no bounds, described the celebrant as a welfarist and kind-hearted personality who deserved to be celebrated as such.

A correspondent of Aluta news reports that every personnel of the corp; from the top echelon down to the bottom were in jubilant move, wearing smiling faces,colourful dress and in celebration mood as well as solidarity with the head of account.

The officers were showering choruses of praises and commendations to Amao with returned the gesture beaming infectious smiling.

The National Commandant of PCN, Amb (Dr) Dickson A.O Akoh,congratulated the celebrant on the occasion of her Birthday Anniversary.

Dr Akoh demonstrated his happiness with subordinate by reflecting on the saying of Williams Barclay who said that “There are two great days in a person’s life- the day we are born and the day we discover why.”

“The Peace Corps family therefore, appreciates your contribution towards promoting Peace and Youth Development with the Corps and nation at large.

“Just like Abraham Lincoln says ‘In the end, it’s not the years in your life tag counts; it’s the life in your years. Your resilience, patience, perseverance and humanitarian disposition over the years remain unparallel.

While wishing you enduring Peace, Divine Health and Extravagant Grace, we wish you a blissful celebration, PCN boss told the celebrant while complementing praises showered on the celebrant.

In a remak, Dr Edet B. Ekpenyong, Deputy National Commandant, PB/CR said, “today is yet another great day and a time to Celebrate a great Woman Mrs Omolola A. Amao, the Deputy National Commandant Finance & Account.

” You are admired by all for your unquantifiable contribution to our common goal to the Peace Corps of Nigeria and several lives you have touched individually. I am personally proud of you and you deserve our collective admiration.

” As you continue to glow, may your progress in life grow in leaps and bounce. I celebrate you in this auspicious moment, Happy Birthday Boss.

Millicent Umoru Osakwua
CPRO, in her contribution described Amao as one person she looked up to as a role model.

“She is worth more than gold to those she is close to, her attributes are endless and I must say I’m glad to have found a friend, a sister, a mother like her.

“Happy birthday to a woman I call Mum because she is indeed, a Mum to all.

“May the Lord continue to lift you, enlarge your coast and open more great doors for you, Amen,”the officer said.

Deputy National Commandant ‘Logistics & Supply described celebrant as a mother and kind hearted human being, noted for being Very considerate, accommodating and a go-getter.

Aluta News reports that it is a tradition to mark birthday of officers, irrespective of their position by the national Commandant, a development that has continued to encourage brotherliness among personnel of the corps.
