Group regrets purported allegations against Osibanjo by Ude, PDP
Abuja, July 9, 2020 Star Boy Vanguard, an NGO, regrets in strong terms the purported allegations orchestrated by Mr Jackson ude, alleging that the Vice President, prof. Yemi Osinbanjo was mentioned amongst the associate of the embattled EFCC acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.
The acting National Publicity Secretary of the Group, Mr Maiyaki Dauda, made the regret in a statement in Abuja, on Thursday.
The group also regretted that a national political party like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), would associate itself with such person in a desperate attempt to malign the person of the vice president.
“This singular action by the fake news peddler and highly supported by PDP is a sign of weakness and lack of direction from PDP and its E-media agents across the country,”It said.
The group, however, put it straight to the whole world that the vice president was a man of integrity with a proven track records both as a lawyer for decades and public servant.
It said further that the vice president was a true representation of the future of Nigeria and the type of leader Nigerian youths had been craving for interms of integrity, commitment, experience, focus and the technical know how in contemporary Nigeria.
“Osibanjo has served deligently under the present administration as one of the frontiers of national economy policies , providing solutions to age long problems plaguing the country.
“Creating an enabling environment for small scale businesses and sustainable platform for youths to grow,”it said.
This, the association said, was one of the reasons behind its formation by concerned Nigerians by making sure it does not give room for character assersination and injustice.
“Therefore, we in Star Boy Vanguard will not sit back and watch PDP damage a hard earned reputation.
“We therefore, call on Ude and his co-traveller to redirect and channel their energies toward saving their sinking party,” it said.
