DSK Foundation felicitates with Muslims, urges peace in Taraba state
DSK Foundation, A Non Governmental Organization (NGO),has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Nigeria.
The NGO urged Muslims, especially those living Taraba State to live in peace as part of their efforts to sustain the value of Ramadan in order to build a prosperous and peaceful place” where everyone can actualize his or her dreams.”
Chief David Sabo Kente, Chairman and Founder of DSK Foundation, made the remark in his Sallah message made available to Aluta News on Sunday.
Kente said peace remained the panacea for the development of the state and Nigeria at large
He further enjoyed Tarabans to use the period and pray for peace unity and prosperity of the state and pray for healing from the Coronavirus pandemic and rapid development at all levels of governance in the country.
He added that when every citizen upheld and practised the teachings from the two holy books, peace and tranquility would reign supreme in the society.
He also called on the Muslim faithful to promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.
“Remain steadfast in applying the virtues of Ramadan through sustained supplication, hospitality and good neighbourliness, pray for peace most especially in Southern Taraba.
“The concept of being our brother’s keeper means that we make those around us happy and we should use this period of Eid-el-Fitr to reach out to the less privileged in the society and make them happy, ” Kente also advised the Muslims.
Aluta News reports that DSK Foundation is in the forefront of providing Ramadan sustenance and palliative to people to cushion the effects of Coronavirus as well giving out sensitization against the pandemic disease in Taraba .
