APC youths commend NDE boss over youth empowerment Programmes
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Northwest Youth Wing, has commended Dr Nasisr Ladan, Director General, National Directorate of Employment (NDE), over what it described as his giant strides in youth empowerment programmes.
The APC youths further lauded Ladan for his unrelenting efforts aimed at youth development which had reduced unemployment that was prevalent among Nigerian youths; and urged other government officials and agencies to emulate his leadership style.
Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Fakai, APC Northwest National Youth Leader, who gave the commendation during the northwest youth leaders meeting at the party National Secretariat in Abuja, said the youths were meeting to take appraisal of stakeholders’ impact on the electorate.
According to Fakai, the NDE stands out among the government agencies that are impacting and touching many lives at the grassroots.
“Through the sincere leadership style of the Director General, he has impacted positively on the lives of many unemployed youths at the grassroots, especially in the northwest.’’
He said that the NDE had lined up several skills acquisition and empowerment programmes for Nigerians such as Electrical Installations, Plumbing, Catering, Interior Decorations, Fashion Design, Welding, GSM Handset Repairs, among others.
He called on the northwest youths to desist from any criminal activities and acquire skills so they could be self-reliant to contribute to the growth of the country.
Fakai also commended the Senior Special Adviser (SSA), to the President on Social Investment Programmes, Ismaeel Ahmed, for working tirelessly in propagating the excellent governance style and good intentions of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
According to him, Ahmed has enlightened the public on Buhari’s laudable governance by ensuring transparency and professionalism in the discharge of his duties in the N-Power, School Feeding, Trader Money and Conditional Cash Transfer programmes.
The youth leader urged other APC faithful from the region to always remember the electorate who brought them to the exalted offices they were occupying.
