Covid-19 Palliative: Nasarawa NYCN passed vote of confidence on Gov. Sule

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Nasarawa State Chapter, has passed vote of confidence on Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for his transparency in the distribution of the Federal Government Covid-19 palliative.

The Nasarawa State Chairman of NYCN, Malam Idris Ojoko stated this in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Lafia, Nasarawa State Capital.

Ojoko said that the proactiveness of the governor had increased public confidence on his administration and enhance good governance in the state.

The youth leader also commended Gov. Sule for displaying humanity, accountability and transparency in the governance of the state since assumption of office.

” While It is unfortunate in some parts of the country that the COVID-19 food palliatives mean to relieve the effects of pandemic are being witheld.

” We remain grateful to our accountable and transparent governor for his proactive leadership.

” The Gov. Sule received, supervised and ensure the timely distribution of the food palliatives from the Federal Government to the good people of Nasarawa State.

” This action has indeed averted any possible crisis in Nasarawa state as being experience in some states reported not to have distributed the palliatives, ” Ojoko said.

He reaffirmed his utmost commitment to the upliftment and promotion of the developmental programmes of Gov. Sule and activities of the youth in state.

Ojoko appealed to Nasarawa youths to support the State Government to deliver dividends of democracy in the state.
