EndSARS: Adedoja calls for calm, commiserates with those who loss their loved ones

The National Coordinator of Nigeria Women in Politics, Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja has called for calm among the youths as the #EndSARS protests has been hijacked by hoodlums.

Adedoja, who is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of ARA Foundation made call in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan.

The business woman noted that it was imperative for those louts hide under the umbrella of protesters to loot goods and vandalize government facilities to sheath their swords and allow peace to reign.

She commiserated with the families of those innocent protesters lost their life in fighting for the good course and the betterment of our nation.

She described the shooting by the military personnel as affront to fundamental human right and a rape on freedom of protest.

Adedoja called on Federal Government to bring those culpable for the unlawful killing to books, and allow law to take its full course on them.

” As mother it is heartbreaking, and extremely painful.”

She prayed for the departed souls of who she described as the compassionate patriots to rest in peace and God should give their families the fortitude to bear the great loss.
