The people of Zuru Emirate have reaffirmed their unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Comrade Nasir Idris of Kebbi State for continuity in 2027.
The reaffirmation came barely a week after the people of Fakai, Sakaba, Danko/Wasagu and Zuru local governments gave Governor Idris an unprecedented reception during his tour, declaring “there is no alternative to Kauran Gwandu in 2027.”
The position was reiterated by APC critical stakeholders in the emirate during the launch of a palliatives distribution organized by the Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Abdullahi Idris Sadaukin Zuru, for Rafin Zuru ward in Zuru LGA at the weekend.

Speaking for the stakeholders, Alhaji Muhammad Maikudi Saleh, a member of the Kebbi State Executive Committee, reassured Tinubu and Idris of the emirate’s unshakeable commitment to their victory in 2027.
He said the Governor’s efforts in addressing infrastructural deficits, establishment, and rehabilitating roads, schools, healthcare, education, and agriculture will remain indelible and is considered a debt to be repaid
He added that Governor Idris has inspired politicians like Sadaukin Zuru to contribute to the socio-economic well-being of low-income earners, noting the Governor is recognized beyond Kebbi for compassion, generosity, integrity and selflessness.
Zuru local government chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Alhaji Abubakar Abiola congratulated Sadaukin Zuru for following the Governor’s footsteps, describing Governor Idris as a “General Commander of welfare and generosity,” and urged beneficiaries to use the support to improve their business capital.
In his remarks, Sadaukin Zuru thanked Governor Idris for the opportunity to serve and to support his community and praised the Commissioner of Agriculture, Alhaji Shehu Muazu Haruna, for his support.
Over 400 beneficiaries, including aged men and women, youths and women, received financial support of between N10,000 and N20,000 each under the “Sadaukin Zuru Empowerment Initiative for the Needy” to meet basic needs or boost business capital.
The event was attended by politicians, Kauran Gwandu support groups, market women, women and youth organizations, students, and associates from Niger, Sokoto and Zamfara States.
