Zulkifilu Dalhatu formally dumped the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and pitched his tent with the All Progressives Congress (APC) with thousands of his supporters at a well attended ceremony at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja.
Amb Zulkifilu Dalhatu, former national coordinator of the ADC stated that he and his legion of supporters decided to join the APC due to the lack of internal democracy in the ADC, the lingering leadership crisis as well as the action-oriented leadership style of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR which has raised the infrastructural, socio-economic and developmental profile of the nation to greater heights.
According to Amb Dalhatu, no other leader in Nigerian history has delivered on his campaign promises like President Ahmad Tinubu, citing the increased revenue to the states, local government autonomy, the creation of the regional development commissions, massive construction projects like the Kano-Zaria-Kaduna Expressway, the Badagry – Sokoto Super Highway, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, and numerous other projects across the nation.
An appreciative Zuckifilu Dalhatu stated that: ‘the APC remains the only national party committed to the unity, progress and development of the country while the other parties are only dominated by a few personalities who do not believe in internal democracy or the rule of law and were only concerned about their personal interests, ‘ .
An upbeat Amb. Dalhatu vowed to mobilise the teeming youths of Nigeria to the APC camp and called on the women, the students, workers, trade unions, farmers, professionals and all segments of the Nigerian populace to vote massively for President Bola Tinubu, and all other APC candidates in the upcoming governorship, National Assembly and House of Assembly poll in 2027.
