Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated the Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on his turbaning as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate.
Governor Radda described the conferment as a well-deserved honour that reflects Governor AbdulRazaq’s sterling leadership, humility, and outstanding contributions to the development of Kwara State and the nation.
The Governor said the title of Sardauna, one of the most revered in the Emirate, speaks to courage, loyalty, and trust, qualities Governor AbdulRazaq has consistently demonstrated as a progressive leader and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
He noted that the Emir of Ilorin, HRH, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has made a wise choice by elevating a leader whose commitment to unity, peace, and people-centred governance continues to inspire colleagues across the country.
Governor Radda, on behalf of the Government and good people of Katsina State, felicitates with Governor AbdulRazaq, the Ilorin Emirate, and the entire people of Kwara State on this historic honour.
He prayed that Almighty Allah grants the new Sardauna of Ilorin more wisdom, strength and long life to continue to serve humanity.
