Shettima

Awka, Sept. 2, 2026 (NAN) Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra has commended Vice President Kashim Shettima for his loyalty to President Bola Tinubu.
Soludo described Shettima as a stabilising force in the current administration and praised his commitment to national service.
The governor said Shettima had worked harmoniously with Tinubu to advance the “Renewed Hope Agenda” and promote national unity, security and prosperity.
Soludo stated this in a congratulatory message to Shettima on his 60th birthday, issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, on Wednesday in Awka.
He described Shettima as a statesman whose life had been marked by uncommon dedication to the Nigerian project.
“Shettima’s trajectory from the banking sector to the governorship of Borno, the Senate and now the vice presidency reflects immense capacity, cerebral depth and undivided loyalty to national service,” he said.
Soludo wished Shettima continued good health, wisdom, renewed strength and greater fulfilment as he continued to serve the country. (NAN)
