A strategic, wholistic and integrated digital ecosystem platforms is to be formally launched by the federal Government to place the public service at per with global best practices.
These platforms are expected to transform how reforms are monitored, documented and communicated across the public service.
The Director General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Dasuki Arabi made this known at a press conference in Abuja on Monday.
According to him, the Bureau, under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation is going to launch the event on Monday 14, July, 2026.
He explained that the transformative digital platforms are designed to strengthen transparency, accountability, knowledge management and evidence-based implementation of reforms across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Director General stressed that at the event, the Federal Government will unveil the Reforms Tracker Dashboard, the Knowledge Repository, and the National Strategy for Public Service Reform (NSPSR) Strategy Dashboard.
He noted that, the Reforms Tracker Dashboard will provide a credible and reliable mechanism for monitoring reform milestones, timelines and key performance indicators across MDAs.
Dr. Arabi pointed out that using verified data, the platform will deliver near real-time updates on implementation progress, strengthen performance management, improve coordination among institutions and reinforce accountability in reform delivery.
He said the Knowledge Repository will serve as the Federal Government’s central digital library for reform-related policies, strategies, reports, guidelines, case studies and other knowledge products.
By preserving institutional memory and making valuable resources readily accessible, he said, the platform will reduce duplication, encourage evidence-based policymaking and promote continuous learning throughout the public service.
According to him, complementing these initiatives is the NSPSR Strategy Dashboard, which offers a live visual representation of the implementation of the National Strategy for Public Service Reform.
He noted that the dashboard will enable decision-makers to monitor progress across the strategy’s pillars and building blocks, identify implementation gaps, celebrate achievements and make informed policy decisions.
The DG stressed that these platforms demonstrate the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to building a transparent, accountable, technology-driven and results-oriented public service that delivers quality services to Nigerians.
He also noted that the platforms will address longstanding challenges associated with fragmented reform reporting, limited access to institutional knowledge and the absence of a unified mechanism for tracking reform implementation across government institutions.
As the Federal Government’s coordinating institution for public service reforms, the Bureau of Public Service Reforms remains committed to leveraging innovation and digital technology to promote transparency, strengthen institutional performance and enhance service delivery.
The Director General said the launch marks another significant milestone in Nigeria’s public sector transformation and will provide government leaders, policymakers, development partners, researchers, civil society organisations, the media and citizens with credible, verified and accessible information on the progress of reforms across the public service.
The event is expected to attract the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, ministers, permanent secretaries, heads of government agencies, development partners, representatives of civil society organisations, academia, the private sector and members of the media.
