Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, former Chairman of Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from 2015 to 2025, has formally presented his Letters of Credence to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of Qatar.
Prof. Yakubu, who was appointed as Nigeria’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Qatar, performed the diplomatic rite at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.
The ceremony officially commences his new diplomatic mission.
