The Executive Chairman, Kebbi State Welfare Agency, Faruku Aliyu Yaro Enabo, says the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has released the schedule of 2027 Hajj Rites to mark the end of 2026 Hajj operations.
“Intending pilgrims for the 2027 Hajj Worldwide have the grace of only two months between now and the 1st Septemberr, 2026 to secure visa from the Saudi Authorities.
“Intending Pilgrims from Kebbi State should start to pay from today which elapses on the 30th September, 2026”,
“Governor Nasir Idris has consented that pilgrims can make an initial deposit of N5 million, but those who have the wherewithal can pay N7 million in full”, Enabo explained
The Executive Chairman who was addressing a gathering in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday to mark the end of 2026 Hajj operations said all the 4,256 Pilgrims from Kebbi State who performed the 2026 Hajj in Saudi Arabia, had returned home safely, without any death recorded.
In addition, the Pilgrims Welfare Agency had successfully evacuated 7,860 pieces of Pilgrims’ luggage from the Holy Land to Birnin Kebbi, and handed over to individual owners.
“The success of our operations is attributable to Governor Nasir Idris who gave the Agency the requisite moral and material support to excel.
“Kebbi has been rated with the best performance of the 2026 Hajj exercise both at home and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, among other states in the Federation”, he revealed
On the occasion, the Pilgrims Welfare Agency presented awards and cash to the Immigration Service, NDLEA, the Police, the Nigerian Army, DSS, Civil Defence, NAPTIP, the Custom Service and the Road Safety Corps as well as individuals, who made necessary input that impacted positively to the success of the 2026 Hajj Operation.
