The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), in collaboration with the Agricultural Trade Group and JMT Plus Farms and Agro-Allied, wishes to inform stakeholders, partners, exhibitors, sponsors, participants, and the general public that the Agricultural Mechanisation for Export-Quality Products in Africa (AGROMEQA EXPO 2026), earlier scheduled to hold from June 10–12, 2026, has been rescheduled.
The Expo will now take place on November 15–16, 2026, at the Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, SAN Trade and Convention Centre, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Abuja.
This decision was reached following extensive consultations with key stakeholders and partners to allow for broader participation and deeper engagement from relevant actors across the agricultural and agribusiness value chain, both within Nigeria and internationally.
The organisers remain committed to delivering an exceptional platform that will promote agricultural mechanisation, strengthen export-quality production systems, facilitate technology transfer, and attract sustainable investments into Nigeria’s agricultural sector. The additional preparation period will provide greater opportunities for government institutions, development partners, investors, agribusiness operators, equipment manufacturers, financial institutions, researchers, farmers’ associations, and international participants to effectively engage and contribute to the success of the Expo.
Speaking on the development, the President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to advancing agricultural transformation and enhancing Nigeria’s export competitiveness.
According to him, AGROMEQA EXPO 2026 remains a strategic initiative designed to support national priorities on food security, economic diversification, job creation, value addition, and export-led growth.
The Expo, themed “Technology and Investment for Agro-Export,” will continue to serve as a premier platform for showcasing modern agricultural technologies, facilitating business-to-business engagements, promoting investment partnerships, and strengthening linkages across the agricultural value chain.
The organisers appreciate the understanding, patience, and continued support of all stakeholders and assure participants that preparations are ongoing to ensure a highly impactful and successful event.
Further information regarding participation, exhibition opportunities, sponsorship packages, and programme details will be communicated in due course.
