Governor Radda mourns late President Yar’Adua, urges Nigerians to emulate his example

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has remembered late former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua on the sixteenth anniversary of his death, which falls today, May 5th.

Governor Radda described the late President as one of Nigeria’s greatest leaders. He was a man of truth, honesty, and integrity. He kept his promises to the people.

“Today, we remember a leader who gave everything to this nation. President Yar’Adua was not perfect, but he was honest. He was not afraid, but he was humble. He did not seek power, but he wielded it with grace,” the Governor stated.

Governor Radda noted that President Yar’Adua’s commitment to Katsina State shaped the region’s development trajectory. His leadership demonstrated what principled governance looks like. His dedication showed what a president can achieve when guided by conscience and duty.

Governor Radda called on Nigerians to remember President Yar’Adua’s example. He urged leaders to emulate his honesty and integrity. He appealed to citizens to uphold the principles he championed.

Governor Radda, on behalf of family, the state government and the people of Katsina state, prayed for the eternal rest of the late President’s soul. He prayed for comfort for his family. He prayed for Nigeria’s continued progress in the spirit of Yar’Adua’s vision.
