CP DANTWAYE SWEEPS OUT ‘BAD EGG,, Gwarimpa DPO BOOTED OUT OVER MISCONDUCT ALLEGATIONS

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, ordered the immediate redeployment of Gwarimpa Division’s Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Superintendent of Police (SP) Babale Galadima, to Command Headquarters following public allegations of professional misconduct. According to a statement Saturday by FCT Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, Galadima will face administrative disciplinary proceedings under the commissioner’s zero‑tolerance policy on unprofessional conduct.
In a related development, the commissioner approved the posting of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Nasir Gusau as the new DPO of Gwarimpa Division with immediate effect. He charged CSP Gusau to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect human rights, and maintain civility in dealings with the public, aligning with the command’s strategic operational goals.
The police chief also appealed to residents of Gwarimpa and surrounding areas to cooperate with the new DPO and continue supporting the police in sustaining peace, lawfulness, and public safety across the division.
Aluta News reports that CP Dantawaye reiterated that all officers must remain professional, courteous, and law‑abiding, warning that misconduct or abuse of office will attract appropriate sanctions.
