In a significant development, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of a dynamic youth leader,Comrade Solomon Adodo to the board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC). This move demonstrates the President’s continued commitment to empowering the youth and civil society.
“In a statement signed by Comrade Danesi Momoh, National Coordinator of Empowerment For Unemployed Youth initiative EUYI , and Comrade Igw Ude-umanta, National Secretary, on Wednesday in Abuja, the duo extolled Adodo as a visionary advocate for youth inclusion and a stalwart defender of the poor, noting that his appointment to the NCDC board will undoubtedly have a profoundly positive impact on the lives of young people and rural communities.”
We commend President Tinubu for his faith in the abilities of young people and his efforts to promote youth empowerment. We also appreciate Distinguished Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, President of the Senate, for his role in making this appointment possible and for providing mentorship to young leaders like Adodo.
However, we condemn the mischief being championed by a group purportedly led by one Aliyu Kwali, who claims to be part of the FCT Stakeholders Assembly. Their campaign of lies and sentiment against Adodo’s appointment is unfounded and divisive. We advise them to desist from such negativity and focus on constructive engagement.
Adodo’s appointment is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the youth. We congratulate him on this achievement and look forward to seeing the positive impact he will make in the lives of Nigerians.
This appointment has garnered widespread approval and applause from across the country, and we believe it will bring about meaningful change in the lives of young people and rural communities.
