Cubana Visits PLF pledges support to Nigerian youths
Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, says he is committed to building a greater Nigeria by supporting youths in the country.
Iyiegbu made the pledge when he visited the president of Princeton Leadership Forum, Dr Chibuike Echem at his office in Abuja on Tuesday.
The famous Nigerian celebrity, and Chairman, Cubana Group, who commended the efforts of the forum, noted that youth empowerment was key to achieving the Nigeria of its citizens’ dreams.
According to him, the visit is to support Princeton Leadership Forum’s
quest to champion youth development and empowerment across the country.
He therefore promised to always support and empower Nigerian Youths in all spheres of life.
Iyiegbu also pledged to nominate young people to attend the Youth Transformational Leadership Course (YTLC), at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.
In his response, Echem intimated Iyiegbu on how far the forum had gone in its mandate of developing and empowering youths in Nigeria.
The Princeton Leadership Forum boss also gave Iyiegbu more details of the YTLC, which was initiated by the forum.
”We are pleased to receive you the Governor of Nigerian Youths, thank you for supporting young people across the country.
”We are a Leadership development organisation as you know.
”Part of our mandate is to work towards empowering young Nigerians to be leaders and contribute positively to the development of our nation.
”Among other things, we have initiated the programme for young Nigerians at NIPSS, in Kuru, to raise young transformational leaders, and to prepare them for decision making that will contribute to national development.
”Also part of our strategy is to bring an avenue where successful Nigerians will share their experiences with the younger ones,” Echem said.
Cubana was in company of his brother, Nnamdi Iyiegbu,,his friend, Obialor Obidimalor and others.
