Gov Bello not a use-and-dump politician, Chief of Staff says

Pharmacy Abdulkareem Asuku, Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi, has said that sacrifices made by youth groups toward the emergence of a greater Nigeria would never be in vain.

Asuku made the remarks on Friday in Abuja when he visited the national secretariat of the GYB2PYB group.

He thanked the national executive council and members of the group for their commitment, support and tireless effort toward promoting Gov. Bello’s administration and aspirations

The Chief of Staff described the group’s voluntary services as an act of patriotism, saying that the efforts were well noted and would not go unrewarded

“Bello is not among the ‘use-and-dump’ politicians; I am a beneficiary of similar service and loyalty to him,” he said.

He further charged members of the group to be fully involved in political processes, decisions and actions, emphasizing that no election holds on social media

Asuku also declared that Nigeria was an indivisible nation, warning agents of distractions hiding behind ethnic and religious sentiments to steer clear.

“Such evil agents are destructive elements. They are usually disgruntled elements,” he said.

In his response, the Director-General, GYB2PYB youth support, Amb. Oladele John Nihi’, thanked Asuku for the visit, assuring him of the group’s readiness to continue to evangelise and mobilise support for Gov Bello’s Presidential ambition.

Nihi declared that Governor Bello remains the man to beat in 2023.
