Minister of State for Youth Urges Investment in Eastern Region to Boost Economy and Empower Igbo Youth

In a bid to harness the entrepreneurial spirit and determination of Igbo youth, the Honourable Minister of State for Youth, Olawande Ayodele, engaged with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth wing worldwide in Enugu State on Friday, May 25, 2024
The Minister emphasized the need for major stakeholders to invest in building industries within the eastern region to reduce unemployment, boost the country’s economy, and empower the youth.
“Igbo youth are renowned for their industrious and formidable nature, and it’s time we harness this potential to drive economic growth and development,” Minister Ayodele said. “By investing in industries in the eastern region, we can create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and contribute to the country’s overall progress.”
The Minister highlighted the numerous initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s RenewedHopeAgenda aimed at benefiting Nigeria’s youth, including programs focused on entrepreneurship, skills development, and innovation. He urged stakeholders to support these initiatives and invest in the eastern region to create a brighter future for the youth.
