Muslims have been tasks to be sincere in the discharge of their duties

Hajiya Khadija Hawaja Gambo, a permanent commissioner at the Kaduna State Peace Commission , on Saturday , tasked Muslims to always be sincere in whatever they do and also work with the instructions from the holy qur’an .
Hajiya Gambo gave the advised at the Nasril Lahil Fatih Society , 1st Biennial Zonal Women’s Conference on Saturday in kaduna.
While presenting a paper with the tittle sincerity of Purpose :A Virtue of a Muslimah she said it is important for all to always be intentional in their actions.
She said their is need to be sincere with the Almighty Allah , not only by praying alone , but in all aspect of life .
According to her ,100 per cent submission should be given to Allah , by obeying his commandment and avoid being selective in faith .
She emphasis on the need for all Muslim to be more committed in adhering to the teachings of the holy qur’an and go back to Allah with all sincerity of purpose and work according to his instructions.
On her part , The National Women Affairs Secretary Nasfat, Mrs Suweebah Kupolati in her keynote Address said the Biennial Zonal Women’s Conference will afford women within the Zones to come together to discuss and brainstorm on issues and ideas relating to Women advancement and chart the way forward for the Women Management Committee and the Society as a whole.
She said , the Theme of the conference “Sincerity of Purpose: A virtue of A Muslimah” and the Sub theme, “Polygamy: A Problem or A Solution”is to reawaken Muslim to actively cultivate the virtue of sincerity in worship and deeds.
She explain that, sincerity which is the first blessed step on the straight path towards eternal life in the Hereafter.
“The Prophet said: Verily, the people will be raised for judgement only according to their intentions. The Prophet stated in the hadith that naseehah should be given to five categories: to Allah, His Book, His Messenger, to the leaders of the Muslims and to the common people”she said
“A person who means what they say is a sincere person. A person who doesn’t mean what they say is not a sincere person, and perhaps even seen as a hypocrite”she added
She also said being honest and direct about your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs will help others get to know one on a mutually-sincere level.
In his remarks , The Chairman of the event ,Mr Oluwafemi Bakare has advised Muslims to inculcate the habit of kindness, charity, forgiveness, honesty, patience, justice, respect for parents and elders.
The chairman who was represented by Sekinat Kielani, said, Muslims should also keep promises, while controlling their anger, moderation, cleanliness, sincerity should be their virtue .
In his presentation , Dr Lukman Salati delivering Lecture on a topic Polygamy : A solution or a Problem? said the paper will attempts to x-ray polygamy from Islamic perspectives with a view to answering the question of whether it is a solution or a problem to the myriads of challenges facing homes in the society in general.
He noted that, in Islam polygamy has come to stay as an imperative alternative to the fading and problematic monogamy which is now fraught with daunting epilepsy of survival. (NAN)
