Celebrating Sen Akume,@69:Fr Alia calls aggrieved members for Peace,Unity

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Benue State, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia has congratulated the Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Sen. Dr. George Akume as he clocks 69 years today.
Speaking during the reception at George Akume’s residence, Judges’ Quarters, Makurdi, Fr. Alia assured the people that there shall be no wailing and shame in 2023 and Benue shall be free.
According to the priest, “It is quite significant that we all are officially handed over to the leader of our great party the APC in Benue State, Sen. Dr. George Akume on the auspicious occasion of his birth anniversary”.
According to Isaac Uzaan Media Aide to Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Alia,Fr Alia said that a bridge was built, on which Benue shall leave captivity and suffering and crossover to freedom and affluence,  a bridge to crossover from death to life in 2023.
“My dear friends, this is a very remarkable event that is taking place here. Of all days there is a divine inspiration that is begun and conducted on his 69th birthday.
“This is quite remarkable! There are so many other activities that would have been done here, but God desires that we the candidates from State House of Assembly to the House of Reps, to the Senatorial be all presented to the leader of our great party, the APC”.
“A bridge is built, and an invitation is extended to all those who feel quite aggrieved. A bridge is built, our presentation is your presentation to the leader, come back home, let’s continue to join hands together and work for the betterment of the state”.
Fr. Alia acknowledged the Sterling leadership qualities of Sen. Dr. George Akume, thanking him for accepting to bear the pains and burdens of Benue people and prayed God to grant him good health, peace and long life in his fulfilling service to the society and humanity.
In his reaction, the former Governor of Benue State and Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Sen. Dr. George Akume expressed profound gratitude to God for taking him this far in life.
 He appreciated the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their goodwill messages to him.
For friends and Nigerians who joined in celebrating with him, Sen. Akume said he owed them a special debt of gratitude.
The Minister advised Benue people to be civil, responsible and law abiding while politicking.
 He appealed to them not to insult those who feel aggrieved, but offer special prayers to God to touch their hearts and cause them to see reasons to return and join their brother, Fr. Hyacinth Alia on this mission of liberating the suffering People of Benue State.
The event was attended by state working committee, candidates, former aspirants, elders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress APC in Benue State as well as friends and relatives.
