Don appeals to Nigerians on electing credible leaders

A Professor of Communication and Governance, Don McWara has urged Nigerians to vote for detribalized, visionary and experienced leaders in 2023 for rapid development of the nation.

McWara made the call in Abuja at a Public presentation and Launch of a Book titled, ”This Ship Must not Sink, Resolving Nigeria’s Issues”, Authored by the Founder of Setting Leadership Initiative, Sir AK Peters.

Prof McWara, the Book Reviewer said the skills and soft Language used in the Book would enhance easy understanding of the people on the needed solutions to various challenges facing the nation.

Chairman Planning committee for the event, Sir Francis Njoku who acknowledged the efforts put together by the Author.

He said the idea was another milestone towards nation building.

He encouraged Nigerians to read and write books as to promote the reading culture of Nigeria.

The Author, Sir A K Peters explained that the rationale behind the Book was for him to contribute his Quota and arouse the minds of stakeholders towards building a virile nation.

“I developed the idea with intention to contribute my quota to socio- political developments of the nation. Another reason was to call on all and Sundry for collective responsibility towards Building a better Nigeria for all”, he said.

Sir Peters explained that as the country prepares for the general election, citizens must shun ethnicity, violence and vote trading in the interest of the Nation.

 

He called for proactive measures to be jointly made to ensure Nigeria was a better nation.
