News Of Purported Arrest Of Al-Makura, A Fallacy Of Mischief Makers – ASO.
The Almakura Support Organization (ASO) has debunked the news of Senator Tanko Almakura arrest by the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC)
Mr Segun Tombori’ Director Media and Publicity of ASO issued the statement and made available to Aluta News on Wednesday in Abuja
Mr Tombori has described the report as a fallacy of mischief makers and warns the perpetrators to desist from campaign of calumny against the respected Senator who has served Nasarawa State meritoriously in the last 10 years
Tombori also explained that the attention of the organization was drawn to the report carried by Premium Times and another unknown blog, earlier this evening.
He further clarified that the EFCC’ only invited the Senator to answer questions bordering on some allegations to which he responded appropriately and effectively and was at no time detained
Adding that Senator Almakura has since returned to his residence, to a dinner with political associates.
Sen. Al-Makura won’t be distracted by the antics of detractors as he remains committed to working assiduously to continue exemplary representation of his people at the National Assembly. He remains focused on the vision of galvanising a repositioned and reformed APC, Tombori Said
