Governor Sule leads conversation promoting mining in Nigeria in South Africa
In the ongoing International Mining Conference Indiba in South Africa, Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule showcased the enormous mining potentials and opportunities in Nasarawa State – Nigeria’s Home of Solid Minerals.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Investment, Barrister Ibrahim Abdullahi, on Thursday.
According to the statement, Engineer Sule while presenting to a an elated room of investors, thought leaders, key regulators and relevant government officials from across the globe, committed to the government’s readiness to support and where appropriate, partner with potential investors interested in generating value across the mining value chain in the state.
The Governor also highlighted the peaceful nature of the state, and the innovative community policing strategy adopted to foster such.
On security of investment, especially as regards policy consistency, Engineer Sule made reference to his administration’s dogged commitment to implementing the Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS), which sets out the sector’s policy framework.
With over twenty-four minerals in commercial quantities in the state, the Governor promised full protection of investments and a range of incentives
