‘A well deserved appointment’ NYCN Congratulates new Commissioner

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has congratulated Comrade Kabiru Lakwaya on his recent Appointment as the Kano State Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has inaugurated the new commissioners in Kano State Government house yesterday.
Lakwaya who is the Kano State Chairman of NYCN has Assumed office today as the State Commissioner for youth and sport Development.

They former National Internal Auditor of NYCN and the Current Kano State Chairman of APC youth caucus Comrade Abdullah Amne, described the appointment as an intimation of more openness and reforms in the youth constituency
Amne said as a stakeholder of NYCN, Lakwaya appointment has placed him in a vantage position to push the frontiers of openness and to work more closely with the NYCN and all Voluntary Youth Organisation for the benefit and development of the teeming youths in the State.
He added that Lakwayas hard work and humility has earned him the trust of Governor Ganduje which translated to this enviable elevation.
“His commitments to the values of youths are not in doubt. On behalf of the APC youth caucus and NYCN, I congratulate Comrade Lakwaya on this well-deserved appointment.
“We look forward to close collaboration between our two organisations in the interest of youth development our state, country and we do hope that transparency and accountability will be taking notches higher and indeed mainstreamed in the operations of youth ministry under his watch.”
The government of Kano has proven his words again not just by appointing any how person to man the affairs of Kano you but given the privilege to somebody that understand the workings and structures of the youth within the state. This will help Kano government in many ways to achieve sincerely in terms of youth development.
