Peace Corp of Nigeria bounce back Buhari to assent Bill soon

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters Hon Umar EL-Yakub has hinted that President Muhammadu Buhari will speedily assented to the Peace Corp of Nigeria Bill if pass by the National Assembly again.
Hon El-Yakub hinted to the journalist at the National assembly complex in Abuja on Wednesday
Aluta News recalled that in 2017 the National Assembly had passed the Nigeria Peace Corp Establishment Bill but the President declined assent citing Paucity of funds and duplication of duties of existing agencies.
Last month the bill was reintroduced in the house of representative and has pass second reading awaiting final passage

Hon El-Yakub added that with the cordial relationship existing between the legislatures and executives there is hope for the expeditious passage of the bill,
He stressed that President Muhammad Buhari does not with hold assent to a Bill that is in the interest of this country
All bills sent to him go into serious scrutiny and communicates reason to the national assembly whenever he declined assent
And if those reasons are addressed Mr President will assent to the Bill.
The final passage of the Bill in the house of representative is expected this month,
the Senate is also expected to pass a concurrent vote on it thereafter a clean copy will be transmitted to the President for assent.
I will like to call on Mr.President Muhammdu Buhari to assent a peace corp of nigeria’s bill to reduce the job less among the youth and foremost to coup with security challenges in Nigeria.
