The Code of Conduct Bureau has described Kebbi State civil servants as nationalists for statutes compliance on assets declaration.
The Board member of the CCB, rtd. Justice Ibrahim Buba, reveled this while on a visit to the Chief of Staff, Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Barrister Attahiru Maccido on Wednesday.
He said: “I’m touring states in the North West Zone to assess the challenges and problems associated with the CCB in the zone, also to explain our mission to civil servants. I am impressed with the compliance of civil and public servants in the State”
Justice Buba explained that task of the Bureau entailed ensuring a robust, compliant, hardworking and dedicated civil service in Nigeria, noting that Civil Servants and Public Officers can download and fill their Assets Declaration Forms online on the CCB Portal.
In his response, Barrister Maccido remarked that, that CCB had continuously served the nation with dexterity as one of the most important anti-corruption agencies in the country.
“On behalf of Governor Nasir Idris, we welcome the visit of the Board member to Kebbi, and we are assuring the CCB that our administration will continue to encourage civil servants to discharge their responsibilities of adhering to what is incumbent on them under the Board’s rules”, Maccido assured.
