JEMA’A LG CHAIR COMMENDS KAEDECO FOR RESTORING POWER
The Jema’a Local Government chairman, Hon Peter Danjuma Averik has commended the management of kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDECO) for yielding to good reason to restore power supply in the area after about four months of complete power outage.
Mr Simeon Dauda disclosed in a statement and made available to Aluta News on Wednesday in Kafanchan
Mr Averic emphasized that consistent electricity supply is central to economic development and increased social wellbeing of the people as businesses rely on power to thrive. This therefore calls for the need for customers and management of KAEDECO to sustain their commitment to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the benefit of all.
He cautioned residents especially the youths against resorting to violent protest in resolving grievances and misunderstanding
The Chairman described the habit as counter productive to the collective struggle for peace and sustainable development.
Hon Averik again called on the management of KAEDECO in Jema’a Local Government to partner the council in their efforts to provide conducive environment for businesses and to as well improve on their human relations activities which he described as effective tool in industrial harmony
He reiterated that his council would not relent in its commitment to ensure the security of lives and property in the area.
Averic also expresses his appreciation to individuals and groups for their concern and efforts leading to the restoration of electricity supply in the area.
