Abuja Archdiocese condole with NCPC boss over mother’s death

The Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja has expressed sadness over the death of the mother of Rev. Yakubu Pam, Executive Secretary, National Christian Pilgrims Commission.
The condolence message was delivered by Rev. Fr. Patrick Alumuku, Director Communications of the diocese who visited the bereaved family in Abuja on Thursday.
He urged Christians to prepare themselves for Christ, as death was inevitable.
Alumunku while consoling the family, thanked God for using the late matriarch to raise the calibre of the NCPC boss.
He said:” Pam is someone who has achieved several milestones in his career and contributed greatly to the development of the Nigerian religious affairs and that is from his humble family background.”
According to him, a special place has been reserved for women by God as they are used to produce great leaders.
He commended the NCPC boss for his service to the nation and prayed God to grant him special grace to do more in his religious duties
The director of communication while saying the legacies of late Ngo Zimi Pam would live on, urged her family members and others to emulate her virtues.
He prayed for the eternal repose of the soul of the departed and divine peace and comfort for the family, friends and associates, and grant her soul eternal rest.
Pam said that the death of his mother was very painful because according to him,” I have been paying condolences to people, I know the importance of paying condolences, but I did not know how painful it is to lose one’s mother”.
He affirmed that he so much cherished and appreciates the words of comfort by sympathisers who had been paying him condolences since the demise of her mother.
He described Rev. Alumuku as a wonderful friend of the Commission. His words,” you have been promoting our activities locally and internationally through the Catholic Television,
Indeed we are most grateful to have such coverage from you,” he said.
The NCPC boss noted that the Catholic church was more of a family to him and that the Commission and the Catholic church have a lot to do together for national development .
He disclosed that the body of his late mother, Ngo Zimi Pam would be committed to mother earth on 19th February,2022.
She died on 15th January, 2022 at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital, JUTH after a protracted illness.
