An Emure Ekiti born politician, Prince Debo Ajayi has stressed the need for a god-fearing- leaders at helms of affairs in the society.
Prince Debo Ajayi who stated this when he paid a visit to the meeting of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN in Ado Ekiti explained that only leaders with the mind of God can ensure peace and justice in any given nation and state.
The governorship aspirant decried the levels of decadence, sinfulness, deceit and violence in the land, saying that God remained the only answer to the challenges of Nigeria as a whole.
Prince Debo Ajayi who said he has been a follower of Christ for many years explained that he would always be willing to carry out the assignment God had given to him to engender a better society.
He advised the PFN to pray and cooperate with anyone with the divine mandate and genuine intention to lift the society out of the present difficulty to save citizens from hardships.
In their responses, the PFN chairman in Ekiti state, Bishop Clement Abifade and a Vice Chairman, Professor Bayo Oloyede said the Christian body did not belong to any political party but would always pray and encourage good governance.
