Bauchi First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, has collaborated with the Commissioners’ Wives Association (COMWA) to launch a cash empowerment programme targeting over 340 women across Bauchi State.
The initiative, organised in support of the Alliance People’s Movement (APM), on Tuesday, is designed to provide financial assistance to Women and strengthen their participation in economic activities at the grassroots.
Under the programme, beneficiaries residing in their respective local government areas will receive ₦30,000 each, while those living within Bauchi metropolis will receive ₦20,000 each.
The initiative is aimed at supporting small businesses, improving household livelihoods and encouraging women’s economic independence
The event also provided an opportunity to promote collaboration among women and strengthen their participation in community development and grassroots engagement across the state.
